ITINERARY:

07:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel and start your journey to Go Cong Dong, Tien Giang Province (60km-approx. 02hours). As you leave the bustling city, the landscape transforms into lush countryside, where green rice fields stretch to the horizon, dotted with farmers in traditional conical hats tending their crops.

Along the way, you will pass rustic villages with charming traditional houses, vibrant roadside markets filled with fresh tropical fruits and small stalls selling local delicacies. The aroma of fresh breakfast foods and Vietnamese coffee fills the air, creating an authentic atmosphere of the Mekong Delta.

Pass through peaceful canals and winding waterways, where local boats glide gently, sand barges slowly move, small fishing boats slowly drift on the Vam Co River. Keep an eye out for water buffalo grazing in the fields and children cycling along quiet village roads to school, waving as you pass. This peaceful rural journey will give you a glimpse into the rural heart of Vietnam, setting the perfect tone for your experience in this land.

As you arrive in the village, you’ll immediately notice the fresh countryside air and the peaceful rhythm of rural life. This region is renowned for its diverse agricultural produce, where farmers dedicate their lives to cultivating a variety of fruits and vegetables that thrive in the rich, fertile soil of the Mekong Delta.

Your first stop is a private dragon fruit orchard, where you’ll get an up-close look at how this iconic fruit is cultivated. The farmer will introduce you to the growing cycle, from planting and pollination to harvesting and export.

For a truly immersive experience, you’ll have the chance to know how to participate in hands-on activities:

After the dragon fruits, we continue to explore a local vegetable farm, where farmers grow crops like morning glory, cucumber, bitter melon, various types of mustard greens and other seasonal vegetables. It will be an optional if you can join farming activities such as planting, watering, or harvesting.

Then drive to Local C-Brew master factory - experience the authentic flavors of Gò Công Đông with a visit to a local C brew spot, where traditional brewing techniques have been passed down for generations. This hidden gem offers a unique chance to discover how local farmers transform fresh ingredients into flavorful drinks, using locally grown ingredients such as rice, coconut, dragon fruits, sơ ri or herbs, reflecting the rich agricultural heritage of the region. Interact with local brewers and hear fascinating stories about their craft and daily life.
