DAY 1: ARRIVE HANOI – CITY TOUR

Arriving Hanoi Airport, welcome you to Hanoi! We will transfer you to your hotel for check in. The room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards. In the afternoon, we will have a walking tour around Hanoi. You will be surprised with a variety of architectural works in our capital and its well-known 36 streets of the Old Quarter. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel. |
DAY 2: HANOI SIGHTSEEING (B)

In the morning of the second day, we will give you time to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday), the traditional stilt house and the respected One-Pillar Pagoda. Leaving here, we will transfer to thousand-year-old Temple of Literature, the famous first university in Vietnam. You will recognize that this is a popular place for Vietnamese students to take commemorative photographs when graduating. In the afternoon, we visit the Ethnology Museum (closed on Monday). Here, you can deeply explore the diversity of Vietnam’s ethnic groups before enjoying a traditional water puppet show performed after the sunset. Our day 2 of route will finish here. Meals on your own and take a sound sleep for the following day! (Remark: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum closes from 08 September to 08 November for annual maintenance. Outside visiting will be arranged.) |
DAY 3: HANOI - NINH BINH (B,L)

We will start our day for with breakfast. Then we get on private car and head to Ninh Binh via Nho Quan (2 hours driving). Our stop is a local house for lunch and rest. Let’s ride bicycle on a dike along the river, breath fresh air while discovering the life of local villages. You have chance to go not only by bike but also by boat here. Now! Take a rowing boat through the immense rice fields and enjoy the picturesque landscape of rocky peaks and canals. Subsequently, we will head to Hoa Lu. From 938 to 1010, this place was the ancient capital of Vietnam. You can explore this event in particular and history of the country in general. At the end of day, dinner on your own and don’t forget to give you a tight night sleep for next destination! |
DAY 4: NINH BINH – HANOI (B)

We will depart in the morning for the 28 km – trip to the east and visit the Cathedral of Phat Diem, the most well-known cathedral in the Red River Delta. This unique architectural church was built from 1875 to 1899, inspiring by imperial Hue city. You can observe the sculptures on its portals, it shows us a surprising blend of angels, saints, spectacle of Christ’s life and good presage in Vietnam. Our wonderful tour will end at middle afternoon and return to Hanoi. Meals on your own! End of services! |
