DAY 1: HANOI – MAI CHAU (L,D) |

In the morning, drive Southwest through the winding road to the picturesque valley of Hoa Binh for Mai Chau (4 hour transfer). This is a beautiful valley surrounded by spectacular karst rock formationand fertile paddy fields dotted by traditional houses home of Thai community. Arrival at Mai Chau and check in at your home stay. After a short rest, enjoy a delicious home made lunch at the home stay. By the afternoon, take a hiking around the area to get to know the local villages of minority tribes and the feel of rural area with breathtaking view over the mountains and streams. Later on, return to your home stay where you will have a dinner and enjoy a traditional dance perfomance by local people. Overnight at the rustic traditional stilt house with the experience you may never find before. |
DAY 2: MAI CHAU SURROUNDING (B,L,D) |

We suggest waking up early to enjoy the cool atmosphere of the mountainous region and the moment when the whole area bathed into the morning glory of the sun. After breakfast, take a biking around the villages and observe local villagers on their daily routine when going on their business with doing the field work, herding the buffalo and the vibrant of local markets. This is also a good chance for many photo stops and to interact with the locals. Then drive to PomCoong village for lunch before going on through dirt road passing numerous mountains and rice field to reach the hill foot. From there, trek into the hill to explore the magnificent waterfall on top of the hill – a place only the locals know and very rare tourists coming there. You can opt to take a bath at the waterfall or simply enjoy the coolness in the shadow. Return to your home stay for dinner and overnight. |

Waking up and enjoy breakfast. Then you are free at leisure to enjoy last time here. Say goodbye to Mai Chau and drive back to Hanoi. End of our service upon arrive Hanoi. |
